Transparent usage
Credits are checked before generation. Normal quality costs 10 credits per image; high quality costs 40. If your balance is below the required amount, the task will not start.
The assistant conversation is billed separately from images, on the text it writes back to you. It is a small fraction of what the pages cost.
The comic assistant
Upload a TXT novel, let Novel to Comic split it into chapters, then ask the assistant to draw them. It prices a large batch before it starts and tells you where it stopped if your balance runs out.
Comic pages into video
Any finished comic page can be turned into a short video with spoken dialogue. It is charged per second at 20 credits, you pick the length, and the cost is shown before you confirm.
Billing dashboard
Review remaining credits, order history, and credit usage from your dashboard. You can also sync your payment status from the billing page if your credits have not arrived yet.
No card storage
Payments are handled by Stripe through our billing provider. Novel to Comic does not store card details.
Is this a subscription?
No. Every credit pack is a one-time payment. Credits are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
How many images can I generate?
Normal quality costs 10 credits per comic image and high quality costs 40. You can mix both quality levels across projects.
How much does a video cost?
Videos are charged per second at 20 credits a second, so a five-second clip costs 100 credits. You choose the length before generating and the price is shown before you confirm.
Can this cover a full novel?
For a novel at the scale of Pride and Prejudice, many creators can plan around 200 comic images depending on pacing, segment size, and how much of the story they adapt.
Do I have to set up every page myself?
No. Each project has a comic assistant you talk to. Ask it to draw a chapter and it reads the text, decides how many pages the scene needs, keeps your characters consistent, and draws them. You can ask it to keep going across several chapters in one request.
Does talking to the assistant cost credits?
Yes, and it is billed separately from images. The assistant is charged on the text it writes back to you, at roughly 1 credit per 1,666 words of output — a normal chapter request costs a few credits. Comic pages and character sheets are charged separately at 10 or 40 credits each. Your billing page shows both.
Can I publish the generated images?
You can use generated images for comic websites, KDP experiments, or social comic accounts if you have the required rights and follow each platform policy. Revenue is not guaranteed.
What happens if image generation fails?
If credits were spent and the generation task fails, Novel to Comic automatically attempts to refund those credits.
When do purchased credits appear?
After Stripe checkout succeeds, the dashboard syncs the payment and updates your credit balance. You can also sync pending payments from the Billing page.
Can I see my credit usage?
Yes. The Billing page shows your order history, remaining credits, and recent credit transactions.
Do credits expire?
All credit packages are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
