Frequently asked questions
Can I make manga without being able to draw?
Yes. You write the chapter and choose the look; the assistant does all the drawing. You never touch a brush or write a prompt.
Are the pages black and white like printed manga?
The built-in manga presets are in color. If you want black-and-white screentone pages, describe that in the style field and every page follows it.
Can the dialogue be in Japanese?
Yes. Set the comic language to Japanese. You can also leave it on auto and the bubbles follow the language of your novel.
Does it read right-to-left?
Pages are drawn as single four-panel pages meant to be read in order. Panel order follows the numbering the assistant writes, not a fixed right-to-left layout.
