Cost to draw
An estimate, not a quote. When you draw, the assistant reads each chapter and decides the real page count from its scenes. You only pay for the chapters you choose to draw.
How the estimate works
A project splits your story into chapters of up to 3,000 characters. When you ask for a chapter to be drawn, the assistant lists its story beats — every change of place, arrival, decision or reveal — and gives each page four panels. The page count is the beats divided by four.
This tool cannot read your plot, so it uses the length instead: roughly one page per 250 to 500 English words, or per 1,000 to 2,000 Chinese or Japanese characters. Dialogue-heavy stories sit at the low end; action and adventure at the high end.

You do not have to draw the whole book
Most writers start with the opening chapter or the scene they are proudest of. Draw a few chapters, see whether the look is right, then decide whether to go further. The estimate for the whole book is a ceiling, not a bill.
Frequently asked questions
How many comic pages is one chapter of a novel?
It depends on how much happens, not how long it is. A comic page here has four panels, and each story beat — a change of place, a new person arriving, a decision, a reveal — needs at least one panel. A quiet 2,000-word chapter can be one page; an action chapter of the same length can be three.
Why is the estimate a range?
Because the real count is decided by reading the chapter. The low end assumes a calm, dialogue-led story; the high end assumes something happens in almost every paragraph.
Why does Chinese or Japanese text count differently?
One Chinese or Japanese character carries far more story than one English letter, so the same number of characters holds more scenes. The estimator detects the script and adjusts.
What are reference sheets and why do they cost credits?
Each recurring character is drawn once as a reference sheet so their face stays the same on every page. Each sheet is one image, drawn once per character, and reused for free after that.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The estimate is calculated in your browser and your text never leaves the page.
